About Me

I was born in rural Indiana in 1939. I went to a one room school house for 6 years, with no indoor plumbing. I graduated from Butler, Indiana High School in 1957. I am married with three grown children and eight grandchildren. For the past 36 years I have called Ocala, Florida home. I have been a salesman and Sunday School teacher most of my life.

I need to give credit to my long time mentor, Dr. Loyal R. Ringenberg, formerly of the Ft. Wayne Bible College (now part of Taylor University); and former editor of Higleys Commentary, printed in my home town of Butler, Indiana.(The Higley Commentary is still being printed in Jacksonville, Florida.) Dr. Ringenberg also was the author of "The Living Word in History" a complete bible history. I stayed in contact with Dr. Ringenberg for many years until his death at 98 in 2001.

The other great influence in my life was my uncle Lewis Walter, who spent most of his early adult life hauling kids around from church services to skating rinks. He was one of the most dedicated Christians anyone could know.
